Give books a second life and give them to children in need.

The action „Cyrkuluj książeczko” is a cyclical collection of books for children organized at Port Rumia Auchan Shopping Centre in cooperation with the foundation “I already help”. All copies brought by customers to the gallery will be given to children staying in orphanages and hospital wards. The action will last until January 31st, 2023.

Reading shapes the imagination and helps to get away from everyday worries. This is especially necessary for children staying in hospitals, orphanages or emergency care facilities. Thinking about these little ones, a collection of books under the slogan Cyrkuluj książeczko” is organized on a regular basis. The patron of the action is Henryka Krzywonos-Strycharska.

To join the fundraiser, all you have to do is bring books to Port Rumia located at 108 Grunwaldzka Street in Rumia and put them in a specially marked box, which is available in the gallery’s passage from November 26th to January 31st, 2023.
Books can be used, but it is important that they are in good condition and can still be enjoyed by children. Fairy tales, novels, school readings or illustrated albums collected during the campaign in the Auchan Gdańsk Shopping Centre will be donated to selected children’s wards of hospitals, orphanages, emergency care, as well as primary schools, including special schools. Some of them will also go to public libraries, thanks to which children will have easier access to the world of literature.
The action Cyrkuluj książeczko” takes place from November 26 to January 31st, 2023, at Port Rumia Auchan Shopping Centre at 108 Grunwaldzka Street in Rumia.
